Cali Roasted Turkey Melt

INGREDIENTS


Cali Roasted Turkey Melt
  • 6 oz roasted tomatoes in oil, drained and chopped 
  • 3 oz bacon (smoked or unsmoked, depending on preference) 
  • 1 ea avocado, sliced 
  • 2 oz unsalted butter, at room temperature 
  • 4 slices multigrain bread 
  • 1 oz French mayonnaise  
  • 8 oz Cuisine Solutions Roasted Turkey Breast  
  • 4 oz shredded Chihuahua cheese (“Melty Cheese”)  
  • 8 oz French fries, frozen  


INSTRUCTIONS


  1. For the sandwich: Cook the bacon strips at 356°F till golden brown and crispy; drain the excess fat. Drain and chop the roasted tomatoes finely so they can spread easily on the sliced bread.

    Evenly layer the mayonnaise on both side of the bread. Evenly layer shredded chihuahua cheese on top side of both slices of bread. Place the sliced roasted turkey, the bacon slices, and slices of avocado, then close the sandwich, pressing gently. Butter both sides.

    Cook in a toaster oven, panini grill or classic toaster till golden brown. Alternatively, use a pan on the stove and place it in the oven to melt, pressing gently.
  2. Assembly: Place two frill picks at opposite ends of the sandwich, and cut down in half. Plate the sandwich and garnish with French fries.

  • 1 ea avocado, sliced 
  • 50 g unsalted butter, at room temperature 
  • 4 slices multigrain bread  
  • 30 g French mayonnaise  
  • 200 g Cuisine Solutions Roasted Turkey Breast 
  • 100 g shredded Chihuahua cheese (“Melty Cheese”) 
  • 240 g French fries, frozen  


INSTRUCTIONS


  1. For the sandwich: Cook the bacon strips at 180°C till golden brown and crispy; drain the excess fat. Warm the roasted tomatoes in the oven for 3 mins at 100°C. Drain and chop the roasted tomatoes finely so they can spread easily on the sliced bread.

    Evenly layer the mayonnaise on both side of the bread. Evenly layer shredded chihuahua cheese on top side of both slices of bread. Place the sliced roasted turkey, the bacon slices, and slices of avocado, then close the sandwich, pressing gently. Butter both sides.
